    My paintings do not reference so-called recognizable landscapes.

    ​

    These paintings are on one hand touchingly beautiful and on the other hand painfully attractive. 

     

    By experimenting with random yet controlled processes, I create works through a labour-intensive technique which can be seen to others explicitly as personal exorcism rituals. 

    ​

    Intense moments are masterfully created by rules and omissions, acceptance and refusal, luring the viewer round and round in circles, even at the risk of causing confusion. 

     

    Applying abstraction through the use of geometric shapes and colors, an illusion is fabricated to conjure up the realms of our imagination in these unique poetic, dream-like landscapes.
